This edition debuts a new category. Its purpose is to recognize the efforts of media outlets in disseminating information about ICT-based initiatives, projects, products and services developed to improve the quality of life of people with disabilities.
The Discapnet Awards for Accessible Technologies are convened by the ONCE Foundation as a part of Discapnet website (only in Spanish).

Submissions from all countries are welcome and application forms can be presented in Spanish or English.

In addition, winners will receive an original art piece authored by a prestigious artist with disability chosen by the ONCE Foundation.
Evaluation Criteria
In order to select a winner for each of the categories, the jury shall follow the general evaluation criteria stated below:
- CATEGORY A - Product or service
- Accessibility in technologies and solutions used.
- The innovative nature and global quality of results obtained.
- Application to multiple environments, target groups and geographical areas.
- CATEGORY B - Person, entity or organization
- Scope, continuity and coherence of actions carried out.
- The innovative nature and global quality of results obtained.
- Contribution to technical and methodological development of technology accessibility.
- CATEGORY C - Entrepreneurship
- Prototype quality
- Scope of solution
- Business model
- CATEGORY D - Media
- Number of contents published about ICT based initiatives, projects, products and services.
- Innovative nature and global quality of disseminated content.
- The nominated media outlet’s contribution to the social inclusion of people with disabilities through the development of best practices.
Jury Composition
The jury will comprise experts from ONCE Social Group, CERMI and the Government of Spain, as well as renowned professionals with a an outstanding national and international trajectory in the field of technology, communication and social responsibility.
